Weekend in Chamonix MontBlanc & Geneve
I'm really excited during the first weekend i met places that I never imagined I would met during this trip. The first place we met was Chamonix MontBlanc, a really lovely place, is located in the French Alps. It is a little town the regulars gather at this place for extreme sports like rafting, rappelling, snow skiing, among others.
Another place we met was Geneva, Switzerland. I really loved that city. I want to live there, only take a look to the next video!
2nd week of classes... About the working conditions in France.
In my second week of classes my
teacher was Steve Kruse, he spoke about the working conditions in France. Which
was very interesting because we learned that there are 5 main types of work
contracts and each of them must to leave reflected the conditions of
employment.
These are;
Contract of indefinite
duration-CDI
Fixed-term contract of CDD
Temporary employment contract
Working part-time contract
Intermittent employment
In this respect it is very
similar to Mexico.
The French system is usually
very protective with regard to termination of employment, protective of its
employees. It may be the case that the employer proposes some changes in
working conditions, including working hours, location or salary. This changes
must be communicated to the employee by registered letter. From the reception
has a period of one month to accept or not accept the changes and manifest, if
the nonconformity. If the delay has not been informed of the decision, the
terms will be accepted.
Otherwise, if the nonconformity
is found, the employer will have to accept the decision chosen by the employee.
On the other hand, regarding
the salary Mexico and France is very different. We have a minimum wage in
Mexico is by day, it is $ 67.29 pesos. If we translate into hours is a $8.4
pesos. With 40 hours laboral week. While in France, the minimum wage is 8 €.
With a 35 hours laboral week.
The latter information was
really shocking for everyone.

1st week of classes abroad
Meanwhile,
at school during our first week we had studied under the lead of professor Jean-Louis
Burban who has the experience of having worked for the European Commission
which has its headquarters in Brussels. This European Commission represents and
upholds the interests of the whole of the EU, drafts proposals for new European
legislation and manages the daily work to implement policies and make use of
European funds.
The European Commission has consists of 28 countries, each represented by a commissioner. It's like the government of Europe.

Having
known how the integration of the European Commission was given, it would be
interesting if it could be the case for Latin America. First, it is interesting
to note that the integration process should be an advanced economy, rather than
the political, as it is a key part in strengthening the process, I can even say
that a real integration requires a political project capable of hold.
Either
way, the liberal state that prevails in most of the world, Latin America does
not have a suitable degree of rationality, being delivered to the pressures of
social and political. While it is true that Latin America has resumed its
democratic life aimed at the consolidation of the democratic state, but that is
not sufficient and requires the existence of political projects based on
complementary or similar principles in each country.

For
many, this process is a historical imperative. But, on what political project?
Does the Mexican, Brazilian, Bolivian, Chilean or perhaps the U.S.? In Latin
America, the process looks enviously living the European Union, and we realize
we do not have a "regional identity"; we do not have a common
political project, and what is worse, we have clearly similar or complementary
interests.
In
such a scenario, there is no conflict regulation: existing accentuated, the
national interest is assessed in reductionist terms, the state is an instrument
of lobbyists with the most influence, and instability becomes an inherent
factor to dependent development of these countries. This
has almost become a vicious circle now, more than ever, is stalled due to the
difficult economic problems and therefore instability by affecting the region.
How
can propel a process that, in turn, allow the liberalization of regional
markets, competition with world markets, political integration of Latin America
in the "new world order" and also ensures the stability of the
countries around a high level of governance? The problem is complex.
We can not ignore the problems of referrals background are socio-cultural dimensions and, of course, policies that are intertwined with economics, in a circular relationship: economic interests also determine the socio-cultural and political, and these are elements deeply rooted in the structure of Latin American countries.

Here we go... 1st Week!
After the day on which Mexico met defeat, we went to the Eiffel Tower and we were there by a long time taking pictures and watching its majesty.
And of course after the long flight and mini tours in this wonderful city, you can not miss my jet lag face...
Welcome to Paris!
And like a welcome to the city of Light i saw the Mexico-Netherlands football game, and for a moment we thought we left victorious. But, almost to finish we felt in disappointment because of the defeat.
After that, the disappointment disappeared when Omayra our guide, took us to dinner at a
buffet restaurant where we tasted delicious French dishes. Something I've been
notice and love that parisians
they're always well dressed.
